lol you guys are so surprised, but its the cheapest one out there.... kaplan for the mcat was like $1200-1400 (i don't rmr exactly how much)... and this exam is so much bigger than the mcat so i'm pretty sure kaplan's price is around $1800-2000...
i'm telling you, i'm pretty sure i've spent over $3000 on apps, pics, mcat fees, kaplan just trying to get into med school. :-/
i heard from a friend whose sister is a resident, that there was a study done on med students and the majority of them are miserable and depressed bc of how hard med school is. honestly, i'm doing alright. not honoring anything, but it doesn't matter the first two years anyways. i'm just glad to be at utmb bc i think we have it the easiest out of all the other med schools. i don't think this module is going to be very difficult, but its going to be jam packed with info. i've already started studying... which is huge. i never study the first week...
*majority of med students are depressed and unhappy bc of how hard med school is but none of them ever talk about it. its like its taboo or something. i can see that happening. as much as we whine about how much we have to do, we won't admit how we're really coping bc prob most of us think of it as a sign of weakness...
